Process of Real Estate tokenization
The process begins with properties being transferred to SANGA DMCC's special purpose
vehicle (SPV). This SPV is a legal entity that holds the assets and manages the
tokenization process.
1. SANGA DMCC then issues non-fungible tokens, called "digital deed tokens," which represent
ownership rights to the properties. These tokens are unique and cannot be replaced or exchanged
for other tokens.
2. Buyers can purchase the digital deed tokens on SANGA DMCC marketplace, which is accessible
through a digital platform. Transactions are recorded on a blockchain, which provides transparency
and security.
3. Once a buyer owns a digital deed token, there is a legal binding that allows the token holder
to redeem the properties for ownership anytime they want to. This means that the token holder
has the right to claim ownership of the property and can do so at any time.
